The Cochise County Planning & Zoning Commission made two business request approvals during its recent meeting, giving the go ahead for the construction of tiny homes and for the expansion of Golden Oaks Canyon Assisted Living in Sierra Vista.
The commission approved requests from Lukasz Dobosz, owner of Luxury Tiny Homes, and Golden Oaks Canyon Assisted Living owner Patricia Kent while hearing concerns and public comments from area residents on the requests.
Dobosz petitioned the commission for the approval to construct his $75,000 “tiny homes” in a garage located on his property at Kings Highway in Douglas. Dobosz plans to build the homes on his property and then transport them to their new owners. His plan includes building prototype homes before launching his manufacturing operation.
