Marana Is Open For Business

The Marana Chamber of Commerce is proud to be celebrating our 30th anniversary. We are looking forward to advancing our mission as the voice of business that works to build economic growth and quality of life in our community for many years to come.

Marana continues to be the fastest-growing town in Southern Arizona and is on track, at the current rate, to have more than 760 new homes in 2017.

We’re excited about many new projects coming to Marana, including Northwest Health Care’s freestanding emergency department (FSED) which had its ground-breaking ceremony May 22 with many community partners in attendance.

Plans for the town’s new Police Department building includes a groundbreaking ceremony on June 7.

New businesses popping up include Top Golf in Marana growing up to three stories, Home Goods opening soon off Arizona Pavilions, Barro’s Pizza building out in their first foray into Southern Arizona, Chick-fil-A and Arizona Shuttle’s new convenient location off I-10 and Twin Peaks.

On May 10, the Marana Chamber staff, members and the Town of Marana conducted a business walk to visit with the 190 businesses affected by the Ina Road I-10 closure.

We surveyed the businesses to get feedback and follow up after our initial Feb. 8 walk. We found that although the majority of businesses’ volume had stayed the same, many businesses were still not aware of the resources that were available to them through the Main Street Assistance Program, #ProjectIna app, or the Marana Chamber’s website. Connecting has helped this awareness.

A reminder that Ina Road Is Open For Business! Please remember our Ina Road businesses for your shopping and service needs. The town of Marana has a free Project Ina app in both Apple and Android format to keep up with all the latest traffic alerts and deals from local businesses using #ProjectIna or

We would like to encourage all our neighbors to help support all the new businesses by attending our many grand openings and ribbon cuttings at

The Marana Chamber would like to welcome our new members, Family Automotive Repair, Botanica, Tucson Orthopaedic Institute, Peoples Mortgage Company, IMPACT of Southern Arizona, Valor HospiceCare, Farmers Insurance/Jim Winger, Education & Non-Profit Insurance Company of America, Gateway Partners, Luis Hernandez Agency/American Family and HawkView Aerial Solutions.

Thanks to our renewing members for providing the foundation that makes our community great! Remember, you can save money by investing back into your community by shopping locally, driving less and saving time.
